Hull SCITT: Hull SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) is led and managed by teachers for teachers. Trainees become a member of staff in school on day one and spend the majority of their time working in schools supported by an experienced mentor. There are 25 schools in our partnership; we know each other extremely well. This enables us to carefully match trainees to schools guaranteeing a personalised programme. Central based training is led and delivered by teachers recognised as Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs).
